One of the new mega thrends in the cake business, or at least in Mexico right now has been cake pops, I wanted to get my little hands on trying these, but are they as simple as alot of people make them to be??? I tried various recipes, they where dry for my chef palette, not what I wanted to sell to anyone at all, so I did some changes to the recipe, and they came out amazing, I only have one flavor right now which is triple chocolate cake pop with cream cheese frosting and my secret ingredient.
I love how they came out, and they where such a huge hit that I got so many orders, each box has 20 cake pops decorated, all of them decorated, x-mas trees, snowmans, snowmans with hats and scarfs, snowman faces, x-mas cupcakes, and tiny gingerbread men.
All of them covered with chocomex chocolate my choice of chocolate here in Mexico, it's actually really smooth so you don't have to add anymore items to the chocolate, and with the super colors they sale I can make pretty much all the colors I want. Here are some of the cake pops I made for Christmas 2012
Have a BERRY sweet day :)
